Cayce Riverfront Park
You are not going to believe
this walking trail!
The
River Alliance and the City of Cayce have really given the City of Columbia a
beautiful way to enjoy the Congaree River. This park stretches from the
Gervais Street Bridge past the Blossom Street bridge and to State Street in
Cayce. The walkway is fantastic. There are benches for resting, a
cement walkway for bicycling, or just plain strolling through the woods.
There are also several security boxes strategically placed as to provide
security. Tall street lights are also placed all along the walkway.
We thought we would provide you with just a few pictures and you judge for
yourselves.
The
Congaree River is a great place, offering fun for the entire family with river
rafting, and/or kayaking in the summer months and a riverfront park for a stroll
in colder months.
